Nourish to Flourish with Nutrition Prescriptions

Asalaamu Alaykum everyone and Ramadan Mubarak! I’m @yaqutu_nutritionprescriptions, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and nutrition coach based in Atlanta, Georgia. I’m excited to return for the 2nd year of #DigitalRamdan.

As we think about Islam and the tradition of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), we learn much from each of his examples, ways that we can build our relationship with Allah directly. Our faith encourages us to eat well and teaches us that our bodies are a trust from Allah. What we feed our bodies and the steps that we actively take towards self-care influences not only our worship but also our ability to engage and interact with our families. As Muslims, we are obligated to be mindful and intentional about optimal nutrition as it relates to overall health and wellness.

I’m passionate about inspiring my community to be empowered, mindful and intentional about nutrition to be their strongest and most successful in other areas of their lives.  As a Registered Dietitian, I empower individuals to take charge of and improve their nutrition and wellness by offering customized educational resources, coaching, nutrition counseling utilizing user-friendly evidenced based nutrition research. Active coaching and the power of having an accountability partner to check in with as we journey to achieve the goals that matter to us is powerful, not only with nutrition and health but in other areas of life.

If COVID-19 has taught us anything, it's that we can plan better and are capable of so much when we work together, and we can do almost anything virtually! Allow @yaqutu_nutritionprescriptions to help you plan your nutrition and wellness strategy, based on your goals. We can help you create realistic nutrition and wellness goals and achieve them with coaching and accountability. Explore more on our page @yaqutu_nutritionprescriptions in our #linkinbio and in highlights.

Have a blessed and successful Ramadan!
